Montara Homeblock Cabernet Merlot 2016

From Victoria's Montara Wines comes this no-nonsense, flavoursome Cabernet Merlot under their Homeblock Estate label. A good example of a red with a little bit of age. Mid red with a brick hue. Restrained aromas of plum, cedar and earth. Quite gentle and easy-drinking with juicy layers of mulberry, plum, black olive and cedar, softening tannins, earthy complexity from time in bottle, and a dry finish.

Niche Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

Crimson with magenta/purple hues. Classic, varietal aromas of cassis with some choc-mint all work seamlessly with plums and soft oak undertones. A medium bodied wine with a rounded fruit driven palate that features rich, round velvety tannins, with plum, cassis and cherry flavours whilst the oak is soft and just a passenger.

Montara Raven Park Shiraz 2019

From time to time ravens can be seen circling above the vineyards of Raven Park.  Raven Park Shiraz is a typical Victorian style with spicy plum characteristics on the nose. The palate displays seductive red cherry combined with sweet fruit and vanilla from the American Oak. 

Normans Holbrooks Road Merlot 2022

Vibrant crimson and magenta hue. Freshly cut plum and blackberry aromas, with hints of brooding dark chocolate and mint. Beautifully soft, fruit driven which is round and succulent. There is sweet plum and blackberry fruit with a full, rich texture and velvet like tannins with a hint of exotic spices.

Bare Necessities Shiraz 2022

Deep red in colour with touches of purple. Ripe red and black berry and plum fruit aromas and subtle notes of warm spice. On the palate rich ripe black berries and plums provide the drive behind this wine while fine soft smooth tannins and a touch of natural fruit acid add further complexity.
