Tasting Notes:

Introducing the Niche Shiraz 2022 — a bold, expressive South Australian red crafted from premium fruit sourced from the renowned Langhorne Creek region. Awarded 95 Points and a Gold Medal, this vintage continues the legacy of a producer named South Australian Wine of the Year, with previous vintages earning international gold and 94-point acclaim.

Vibrant in the glass with a deep purple core and bright crimson rim, this Shiraz bursts with aromas of ripe blackberries, plums, and cherries, layered with violet florals, spice, and a whisper of vanilla oak. The palate is generous and juicy, shaped by soft, round tannins, and showcases a vibrant fusion of black cherry, plum, and subtle pepper, balanced by the gentle influence of old French oak.

Meticulously crafted using cool night-harvested fruit, static and rotary fermentation, and three days of post-ferment maceration, the wine is both plush and structured. Matured with select oak contact, it delivers texture and depth with a polished, persistent finish.

A versatile food companion, pair it with slow-cooked lamb shanks, sticky barbecue ribs, portobello mushroom burgers, or eggplant lasagna. For cheese, enjoy it with blue cheese or aged Asiago.
