The nose displays lifted citrus, passion fruit and grassy aromas, complemented by flinty and nutty characters. On the palate this wine exhibits a complex creamy texture with a long crisp citrus finish. Enjoy this wine now or alternatively cellar for up to three years.


Technical:

This Sauvignon Blanc, produced for Watershed’s Senses range, has 48% barrel fermentation in French oak, with the balance fermented in tank.

Picked at different ripeness levels, 48% fermented in 1yo French oak, the balance in stainless steel, matured on lees for 5 months. The varied fruit ripeness is a contributor, alongside the complex vinification; taken together, the power of the wine is almost painful, with citrus and cut grass at one end of the spectrum, guava and passionfruit at the other.
