The Niche New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc 2023 delivers exceptional quality and value, showcasing the vibrant, fruit-driven character that has made New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc world-famous.

In the glass, it appears medium straw to pale green, and the nose is bursting with classic varietal aromas of passionfruit and ripe citrus. On the palate, those same bold fruit flavours shine, supported by fine yet well-integrated acidity that provides both structure and freshness. This balance adds texture and fleshiness, while also keeping the wine crisp and food-friendly.

Sourced from vineyards across some of New Zealand’s most premium wine regions, this is a refined, high-quality Sauvignon Blanc that overdelivers at its price point.

Awarded 93 Points & 5 Stars by Sam Kim (Wine Orbit) and following a legacy of gold medal-winning previous vintages, this wine is truly one of Planet Earth’s best value New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs.

Technical:

Fruit was sourced from vineyards across New Zealand’s premium viticultural regions. It was picked then lightly pressed in a cool environment with the resulting juice transferred to tank for a cold settling period of up to 3 days. Clear juice was then racked to stainless tanks, warmed and inoculated with a select yeast strain to allow the intrinsic qualities of our vineyard sites to shine. Fermentation on average lasted 3 weeks at low temperatures to retain maximum varietal character, after which the wine was removed from their ferment lees before spending time on light lees to develop further palate richness and flavour. Following this the individual parcels were blended and prepared for bottling. Make to drink upon release while the fruit flavour is at its most fresh and vibrant although will develop more complexity over the short term.
