Stunningly dense purple/black in colour with purple hue. Wonderful array of aromas here featuring perfumed scents with black fruits, plums, Mediterranean herbs, graphite, licorice, smoked meats, truffle and black pepper. Big, bold and beautiful. There is velvet like texture which runs through this wine hand in hand with its serious depth and concentration. Blackberries, cherries, blackcurrant, dark chocolate, damp earth, and truffles almost every flavour under the sun seems to appear and disappear with every sip. The tannins from the power of the Shiraz fruit are evident yet are balanced by the soft juicy fruit flavours.

Medium intensity ruby-red with bright garnet hues. On the nose, rich aromas of blueberry, plum and dark fruits intertwined with violet and spice from Touriga Nacionale. The palate is full bodied with a textural midpalate dominated by bright red fruits and with nuances of dark fruits, chocolate and cedar oak. The finish is vibrant and satisfying, leaving a long trail of generous juicy fruit and full palate tannin.

Blackberry, blood plum and black cherry with hints of spice, licorice and dark chocolate. Deep purple with red brick flash around edge. Blackberry fruits with hints of licorice, oak and aniseed. The palate is softly spoken and fruit driven initially with blackberries, plums and licorice notes giving your insight into what is ahead. An approachable mid palate, which is full-flavored, while the fine-grained tannins finish with complex notes of olives, cashew nuts and oak. An alluring finish, which is moreish and smooth, yet has great length.

1x Fu Barossa Valley Shiraz 2020 - 16.00% Alc 

Deep dark black with crimson hues. A hedonistic style which needs time to breathe to show its true character. The fruit characters are blackberry and there is white pepper and some seductive spice. Some age is showing and is evident through the characters of leather saddle, coffee, and chocolate. Powerful fruit flavours are evident thanks in large part to the old vine material used there’s a blanket of tannin and oak which all work together to provide the backbone. Plum, liqueur, leather, earth, coffee and smoked meat all perform back up roles. A perfect balance between oak and fruit has been achieved and these characters appear to have perfectly melted into one another over time due to the use of high-quality oak and minimal Sulphur use. The tannin structure is long and velvety with the wine having an incredibly long finish.
