Tasting Notes:

Pale lemon with green hues. Lifted citrus and nectarine fruit. Full flavoured bursting with white peach and nectarine fruit with a zippy citrus finish. The finish has a wonderful mineral character which runs down the spine of the wine.

Technical:

Sourced From One Of Eden Valleys Most Revered Growers from a single vineyard in the Moculta sub region. Fruit was picked in early hours of morning when temperatures were very low to ensure fruit remained crisp whilst being transported to winery. Crushed within 3 hours of picking it was chilled and pressed, as we needed to ensure the fruit was as pure of possible. After settling it racked off lees then warmed and inoculated with a select yeast strain. Fermentation occurred in tank at cool temperatures and select parcels were matured in oak barrels to extend the palate and provide a buttery like complexity. Once the wine was clarified it was bottled and aged to ensure drinkability upon release.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Norman from Good Cellaring potential i have tried one bottle only of this wine and was impressed I feel it will benefit from another year at least in the bootle to develop different characteristics that will appeal to some I really like whites with a bit of age when they lose some of that acididity and mellow out I felt it was a very different wine but unique in its character good fruit as well and typical Eden Valley style

Rated 4 out of 5 by PommyTed from Very good drinking! This was described as a single vineyard wine based on vines planted in the last century in the cool climate area of Eden Valley. We bought it "on spec" but are very pleased we did. It has excellent depth of flavour and has complemented our evening meals, no matter what we drink it with. We will definitely buy it again!
