From one of Victoria’s most iconic producers comes the Yering Station Little Yering Yarra Valley Pinot Noir 2024—a beautifully crafted, modern expression of cool-climate Pinot Noir. Pale ruby with a subtle garnet hue, this wine introduces itself with alluring aromas of dark cherry, wild rose, and festive spice. Rated 91 Points by Shanteh Wale of Winepilot and following a 92 Point, Top 100 Red nod from Ray Jordan for the previous vintage, this release continues the winery’s legacy of excellence.
Bright and juicy on the palate, it weaves strawberries, red cherries, and tart cranberries into a supple core, while a touch of Christmas cake spice adds depth and seasonal warmth. Silky tannins and a vibrant acid line ensure the wine flows gracefully across the palate, finishing with clarity and finesse.
Crafted with precision and drinkability in mind, this is a fresh and approachable Pinot that still holds a quiet richness—perfect for enjoying now or over the next few years.
Pair with herb-roasted duck breast, mushroom risotto, or charcuterie with soft cheeses for a classic cool-climate food match.
91 Point Rated, Shanteh Wale Winepilot
"Some purple hues of the cherry berry fruit spectrum. A mulberry or two and a hint of lilac blooms. Oak spices dials up the aromatic offering with clove, wattle weed and potting soil. Cherry skin and dried olive on the palate, very sandy tannins and some decent medium palate weight. There is mindful consideration to make this wine more than just a light airy red fruited style and for the money you pay it's quite exceptional. A wine for pizza parties or equally a French Pissaladière would be ideal."
