Tasting Notes:

Deep crimson purple in colour, a cascade of wild blackberries, ripe blueberries and Black Forest cake aromas are framed by hints of Indian spices. The palate is rich and ripe, with layers of blackberries and Christmas cake, enveloped in solft, juicy, ripe tannins.

Late winter rains replenished the soils after an initially dry start to the season. The rains cleared during the flowering period in spring allowing our Shiraz vines to set good crops. The weather during the ripening period of late summer into autumn was warm and dry, allowing excellent flavour and tannin accumulation in our Shiraz grapes.
