Tasting Notes:

This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot was matured in new and 1 to 2 year old French oak barrels for 14-18 months. Exhibiting exquisite aromas of blackcurrant, mint and liquorice with notes of mocha and cigar box. This wine is complemented by an elegant and velvety texture with a fine silky tannin finish.

Technical:

Fruit and regional identity. Sense of place: Margaret River. The wines are a good example of typical Margaret River characters. More concentration and complexity through extended maturation and barrel fermentation.

It is soft on the palate with some length and with a velvety finish. I just wished we had purchased more of this delightful wine to enjoy over a longer period.
