Sourced from The Perfect Storm Vineyard, which sits high in the McLaren Vale ranges with an unparalleled view of the storms sweeping in from Gulf St Vincent, this Shiraz embodies the intensity and complexity of its namesake. Handcrafted with meticulous care, the wine is produced from hand-picked fruit, fermented in small batches, and aged in American barrique barrels for 12 months to develop its richness and depth.

In the glass, this Shiraz presents an opaque purple/black color, signaling the wine's concentrated character. The nose is filled with concentrated black fruit flavors, with blackberry, plum, dark chocolate, and espresso offering a deep, alluring profile. The palate is smooth and focused, with an intense wave of blackberry and plum that envelops the wine's backbone. I’ve had this wine previously and was super impressed with its quality, this purchase surpasses the previous dozen. Beautiful fruit flavours with a fantastic finish. I recommend this wine to anyone who enjoys a well rounded red wine.
