Tasting Notes:

Generosity only begins to describe this McLaren Vale Shiraz – rich, ripe red fruits of raspberries and cherries meld with aromas of black pepper and spices. Velvet in texture, this a wine that brings people together for any and every moment.

Technical:

Fermented in traditional open fermenters, and following pressing, finished their fermentation in oak; approximately 80% was French and the balance American, 35% of which was new oak. Vineyard parcels were kept separate during fermentation and maturation and were blended three months prior to bottling.

Accolades & Awards:

90 Point Rated - Mike Bennie The Wine Front

"What do you get when you combine a couple of ex, high-flying LVMH marketing/sales legends, an ex-Wallaby’s captain and winemaker Ben Riggs. Dunno, but it sounds like there’s a lot of nice tailoring involved. You also get this fresh off the winery floor wine project.

Warm, rich, inviting shiraz. Spice-laden, lavish with gummy, jellied berry fruit characters, a dash of splintery, cedary oak, smooth, as can be through its length, with the finish a touch lemony fresh. It’s a glossy, polished red that fits that Friday night, no thinking, like shiraz drinking slot. Good with a bag of [insert favourite thick cut chip] and [insert sport or blockbuster movie]."
