Rich, bold, and elegantly effervescent, the Raptor Bird of Prey Great Western Sparkling Shiraz NV is a premium example of one of Australia’s most iconic and uniquely styled red sparklings. Sourced from hand-selected fruit grown in the Great Western subregion of the Grampians, this wine highlights a region famed for its cool-climate structure and intense fruit expression.
In the glass, it shows deep purple to magenta with a crimson hue. The nose is rich and layered with dark plum, black pepper, and notes of leather and oak. On the palate, the wine is fresh and vibrant, driven by bold fruit flavours of plum and sarsaparilla, accented by spicy black pepper, saddle leather, and oak. A fine bead of bubbles integrates seamlessly with the wine’s sweet fruit core and structured tannins, delivering balance, richness, and finesse.
