Normans seems to have the knack of producing good quality wine at a very good price. This shiraz is a fine example .Will definitely buy again.

Really Good, finishes well, encourages seconds.
I have bought this a couple of times, as well as being value for money it also has sentimental value as I used to live within walking distance in SA and had regular tipples.
I love its depth, quality and deep berry flavours.

Everyday drop.
This is an acceptable drop that is ideal to add to and drink while cooking spaghetti bolognese.

Disappointing compared to the 2016 drop
This order started off badly with the first bottle out of the case being off, and having to be poured away. The second and subsequent bottles are OK, but not nearly as good as the 2016 version of this label. I had a couple of bottles of the 2016 left, and we did a comparison. 2016 was far and away better. So, on balance, this is an OK quaffing wine but not great.

Disappointing Wine from Normans.
I purchased this about 2 weeks ago when I saw it at $60 dozen plus freight. I should have known better. Am very disappointed. It was advertised as a "Cancelled Order". Now I know why...a rather bitter taste . Can only be drunk while eating food (preferably a sweet dessert). Not worthy of the Normans label.
