Tasting Notes:

Bright and vibrant with ripe fruits, primarily dark plums and blackcurrants with a hint of raspberry coulis and coffee mocha oak. Rich blackcurrant and raspberries. Crisp, clean acidity and delightful tannin structure leading to a lingering finish.

Full bodied and smooth and rewards with decanting bringing out the oak and fruit. Everything I could want in an everyday quaffer, or indeed, special occasion.

I read other reviews that either loved this wine or not. Maybe I was just unlucky. Full credit to Tony and the team at GWD, I returned for a full refund.
