Tasting Notes:

Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of ripe blackcurrant and liquorice combine with hints of dark chocolate, vanillin cedar and spicy black olive end notes. Medium to full bodied with good richness the palate features generously textured flavours of blackcurrant and liquorice over some dark chocolate, vanillin cedar and spice. Sturdy yet fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, liquorice, dark chocolate and spicy vanillin cedar.

As the label says a perfect wine to just sit back relax and enjoy with friends over a platter of smoked meats and smelly cheeses. The epitome of what we love doing at Glen Eldon.
