Tasting Notes:

A very pretty pale salmon. Juicy nose, fresh and vibrant with aromas of watermelon, pink grapefruit, tangerine and blackcurrant. A nicely weighted crisp and savoury wine with distinct chalkiness and a gentle citrus crunch. The palate has balance and length with flavours of white strawberry and mandarin.

Technical:

Established in 1999, Fraser Gallop Estate comprises 50 acres under vine on an elevated aspect six kilometres from the south west coast of Western Australia at the heart of the Wilyabrup sub-region of Margaret River.

The region’s pristine isolation beside the Indian Ocean; the maritime climate; and our vineyard’s undulating topography provide the ideal conditions in which to grow Bordeaux and Burgundy grape varieties.

The wines of Fraser Gallop Estate are intensely flavoured, textured and complex. Our focus is on Cabernet, Chardonnay and Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc blends. Only the finest quality French oak barrels are used for all Fraser Gallop Estate wines, with very specific Bordelais coopers used for the Cabernet Sauvignon and Semillon Sauvignon Blanc blends, and Burgundian coopers for the Chardonnay. The complete winemaking process takes place at the estate – picking to vinification to barrel maturation to bottling to cellaring. Fraser Gallop Estate is an estate grown, produced and bottled wine.

"Pale, and pretty much into white wine flavours of pink grapefruit, mandarin, even nudging a bit of passionfruit, but also a light rosehip perfume too. It’s light and tangy, not much flavour really, chalky texture, a pretty tight and zippy style, with a decent finish. Barely rosé, but a pleasant wine."
