Tasting Notes:

This wine is pale straw in colour with green hues. Aromas of melon, peach and stonefruit fill the nose. The palate follows on from the aromas - stonefruits are present initially with lemon myrtle and grapefruit, before the creamy orange panna cotta finish.


Technical:

Yalumba is an industry leader in environmental stewardship; reducing carbon emissions, increasing biodiversity and exploring organic viticulture. These wines recognise our ongoing commitment to environmental management, crafted from certified organically grown grapes.

Our 2015 Organic Chardonnay was sourced from two certified organic vineyards located in the Riverland and Adelaide Plains. Meticulous work in keeping the vineyards ensures the grapes are in perfect condition when they are picked. Together these two family growers have created a wine that showcases the variety with very little winemaking intervention. The ferment is completed using naturally occurring yeasts from the vineyard and winery.
