Tasting Notes:

Light golden, almost transparent, with a greenish tinge,Well balanced, round taste of wine filled with notes of pear and vanilla muffins and ends a long finish with a pleasant sweetness,Notes of juicy pineapple, white summer flowers, pods of vanilla and ripe pears are woven into an elegant aroma of the wine,The wine goes well with cold cuts, poultry, fish, seafood, soft cheeses and fruit desserts.

Technical:

A crisp, fruity, dry white wine made from colombard and chardonnay grown in the Central Valley of California – which runs parallel to the Pacific ocean south of Los Angeles.

They vary widely across the production area and include sandy soils, clay-and-limestone soils and stony soils. 

The grapes are usually harvested at night (colder temperatures) when they reach perfect maturity. The juice is extracted by crushing, draining and pressing at low temperature. Fermentation takes place at very low temperature (15-18°C) for about a week. A proportion of the wine is aged in contact with oak wood
