Tasting Notes:

This is a light and fresh wine displaying characters of lemon, tropical fruit, melons and straw. A wine to enjoy with Asian style food such as Thai or Malaysian dishes. Also try with chicken salad or chicken casseroles. 

Technical:

The fruit for this wine was harvested when each of the varieties reached optimum maturity levels. For both varieties this was in early February. The fruit was transported to the winery, crushed and pressed, the juice clarified and then fermented. Post fermentation the wine was then racked and blended, stabilised and clarified before bottling. Semillon and Chardonnay are blended in this wine in proportions (60:40) that enable each variety to express its natural fruit characters whilst complimenting the other variety. Semillon exhibits aromas and flavours of lemon and straw whilst the Chardonnay contributes melon and white peach.
