Source/Region: BAROSSA VALLEY, MCLAREN VALE, RIVERLAND, SOUTH EASTERN AUSTRALIA.

Grape Variety: Shiraz Grenache

Cellaring: DRINK NOW AND FOR THE NEXT 3-5 YEARS.

Tasting Notes:

The nose is complex with superb lift from the Grenache and fruit weight from the Shiraz. The palate is refined with delicate savoury flavours and great mouth feel. 20% was put into barrel for maturity and the balance was fermented and matured in stainless steel.

Technical:

2011 was a difficult year with high rainfall. The dryer areas like Barossa and McLaren Vale faired best and a high of this wine comes from those regions Blending the two varieties allowed us to take advantage of the peculiar vintage and the resultant wine is balanced and elegant Age of Vines 10 - 15 years.
