From the prestigious Taylors Family Wines in the Clare Valley comes the Wakefield Jaraman Shiraz 2022, a dazzling showcase of ripe fruit power and expert craftsmanship. This multi-award-winning release, which earned an extraordinary 99 Points and was named Best Wine of Australia at the Vinus Wine & Spirit Competition, stands among the elite of Australian Shiraz. With a further 96 Points at both the Winemaster Challenge XIX and Pacific Rim International Wine Competition, plus 27 Gold Medals (including Platinum and Double Gold), this is a wine with global acclaim.


Deep cerise red with a vibrant purple edge, the 2022 Jaraman Shiraz was matured in a combination of new and seasoned American oak hogsheads for 12 to 15 months. This full-bodied, luxurious Shiraz explodes with ripe black plum, raspberry, and blackberry, lifted by seductive notes of vanilla bean and clove. The palate follows with rich, velvety layers of cherry, redcurrant, and subtle confectionery, seamlessly woven with roasted coffee and warm spice from the oak.


Perfectly structured with integrated oak tannins and a firm backbone, this wine boasts remarkable length and texture. While crafted for immediate enjoyment, it has the pedigree to reward patient cellaring over the next decade or more.


A superb pairing for chargrilled ribeye, venison with blackberry jus, or roasted mushrooms with thyme and truffle oil.
