Vasse Felix Margaret River Classic Dry Red 2023 is a fresh, fruit-forward expression from one of Margaret River’s most iconic producers. A cool, dry spring delayed vine growth, but by summer, warm and consistent conditions saw ideal ripening and fruit balance across vineyard plots. The season’s mild finish allowed reds to ripen evenly, developing density and depth while retaining natural vibrancy. Bird pressure was high due to low Marri blossom, prompting extensive netting, but the resulting fruit was exceptional in quality and balance.

In the glass, it offers enticing aromatics of raspberry, raspberry jam, and a subtle hint of vanilla with savory undertones of raspberry pip and a trace of Emmental cheese. The palate is bright and supple with fresh raspberry and satsuma plum at its core, wrapped in a soft, tangy acid line that carries through to a dry and vibrant finish.
