Tasting Notes:

Intense deep red colour with light violet shades. Aromatic to the nose, with notes reminding of licorice, violet, maraschino cherry, vanilla, cocoa and coffee. Its taste is velvety with coffee, chocolate, mint and licorice hints. It is a full-bodied wine with great texture, gentle and elegant. Its soft tannins highlight the aromatic persistence. It is optimal with red meats and game, it is also indicated with strong cheeses.

Technical:
A part of this wine is ageing in barrique for some months. A "Supertuscan", which tastes so well, but does not cost as much as you thought! The grapes are from the south-west of Tuscany between the villages between Siena and Grosseto towards Maremma. Here it is noticeably warmer than in the Chianti Classico, which is noticeable in the soft, full and velvety style.
