Sourced from a single vineyard in the Balhannah region of the Adelaide Hills, the Springwood Park Pinot Noir 2023 is a bright and expressive cool-climate red that showcases finesse, purity, and precision. The fruit was machine harvested in the cool of night, then cold soaked for four days before fermentation with selected yeast strains. Following fermentation, the wine was aged for 12 months in a mix of 20% new and 80% second-fill French oak (barrique, hogshead, and puncheon), adding structure and subtle complexity.

The palate is light and vibrant, with lifted flavours of ripe cherry, strawberry, and red berry fruits, complemented by delicate notes of violet and sweet spice. There is a beautiful balance between fruit, oak, and acidity, making this wine approachable, food-friendly, and a true reflection of its high-altitude terroir.
