Château La Soulège has a lovely garnet colour with beautiful purple shades. On the nose, the wine is very expressive, It reveals black fruit aromas and some toasted touch. On the palate, the wine is well- balanced with blackrurrant and blueberries aromas. It offers also some very nice vanilla touch. The finish is rich and long.

Technical:

Château La Soulège is a small family estate on the eastern edge of the Entre-Deux-Mers region. The river Soulège, which meanders through the vineyards and meadows at Gensac and then flows into the Dordogne, has given the château its name. For three generations the family Berson manages the small château. The property is eight hectares in size. Almost three quarters of the production is red. On the limestone and clay soils of Château La Soulège grows a very accessible, young drinkable Bordeaux with an appealing fruit.

75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc
