This shiraz shows strong, dark berry fruit with blueberries and blackcurrant on the nose. The palate gas distinctive characters of cassis, blackberry and plum with minty notes. Velvety and elegant tannins give a lingering and smooth finish

Upon opening, I thought it was rather light but, given time to breath, I was impressed with its depth and character. I am very happy with my purchase and would rate it among the better reds I have bought recently.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Carrots from An extremely pleasant easy to drink shiraz Again GWD offer a genuine Shiraz at a remarkably low price. This is a wine that for selfish reasons I hesitate to offer to friends and extended family. A very good summer drinking red wine with flavour, feel and colour. Almost impossible to replace the cap on the bottle. I will be watching for its reappearance on the GWD website.
