Tasting Notes:

The Eileen Hardy Tasmanian & Yarra Valley Pinot Noir 2022 opens with vibrant aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and blood orange, layered with complex hints of medicinal amaro herbs. On the palate, it delivers a bright, sour-cherry drive alongside flavors of crunchy pomegranate, delicate spice, and fine, chalky tannins. This blend of 84% Tasmanian and 16% Yarra Valley fruit is fermented with wild yeasts and aged for nine months in French oak, resulting in a savory, beautifully structured profile with a precise and long, refreshing finish. A mirror image of the bouquet this wine has superb length of flavour, fine sweet fruit overlay, mineralacid drive and silky tannins.

Accolades & Awards:

95 Point Rated - Dave Brookes Halliday Wine Companion
Pinot noir sourced from the Coal River and Derwent valleys in Tasmania and the Upper Yarra Valley in Victoria. Bright ruby with ripe dark and red cherry fruits, raspberry coulis and wild strawberry with hints of leaf litter, spice, softly spoken vanillin oak, char siu, mushroom broth, amaro herbs and wildflowers. Graceful and pure with excellent tension between fruit and minerally acidity, fading off slowly in a fan of spiced red fruits.

90 Point Rated - Decanter World Wine Awards 2024
Pretty nose of vanilla and lush red fruit, than a palate of sweet oak spice, silky tannins and a lifted, bright acidity.
