6x Pikes The Red Mullet Clare Valley Red Blend 2015

Medium red in colour. Attractive aromas of black cherry and blueberry with a swirl of dark chocolate lurking in the background. Also a touch of mint and a little vanilla from the oak. The palate is very approachable displaying soft, ripe dark fruits that are nicely counter balanced by some lovely savoury tannins on the finish.

Pale green colour and gentle, fresh aromas of citrus, stonefruit and tropical fruit with a hint of florals in the mix somewhere there.Soft and light bodied with enough zingy acidity to balance the core of citrus/stonefruit flavours very nicely.

Predominantly made from Cabernet with other bits and pieces, the Red Mullet is a little more serious than the name suggests. While providing affordable every day drinking, this wine delivers plenty on the quality front.

Blends: Cabernet, Mourvedre, Sangiovese, Shiraz


Pikes The White Mullet Clare Valley White Blend 2016

Made predominantly from Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc with smaller percentages of the other varieties listed above, this wine delivers a nice mouthful of bright, fresh flavour and is ideal for the warmer months. A terrific partner with seafood and is also a great match with most Asian foods.

Blends: Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Fiano, Pinot Grigio
