The grapes for this wine were sourced from a single block in the Dillons Point subregion, in Lower Wairau Valley of Marlborough, from a single estate owned by the Holdaway Family.

Normans Old Vine Barossa Valley Semillon 2022

Normans Wines is one of the oldest and most respected family names in Australian winemaking. Since 1853, when Jesse Norman planted his first vines in Adelaide, Normans Wines has developed a reputation for premium award-winning Australian wines. Normans Wines is one of Australia’s founding winemakers. The vineyard source was a single old vineyard in the Rowland Flat region of the Barossa Valley. Above average rainfall in winter made up for the drier Autumn period leading to full healthy canopies. The vineyard escaped most of the hail event in late October although yields were still lower than the average. Slow ripening due to cooler than average conditions made for a slow drawn-out vintage resulting in wines with higher natural acid and rich colours. We destemmed, settled, and fermented using specific yeasts then allowed to rest on lees for a 3-month period then filtered and bottled to retain as much luscious fruit as possible.

Pikes Traditionale Clare Valley Riesling 2022

This release marks the 38th vintage of Pikes Riesling and is a worthy follower to the exceptional 2021 release, representing one of the best of the last decade. A true reflection of the cooler vintage, this wine will stand the test of time.Good winter rain allowed soil profiles to be full, giving the vines a great start to the growing season. Remarkably cool summer followed, providing perfect conditions for healthy vines to produce fruit with high natural acidity and concentrated flavours. One of the better vintages of the last decade. Fruit sourced from our own estate in Polish Hill River, and growers’ vineyards in Watervale, Leasingham, Mintaro and Sevenhill. Made exclusively with free run juice, our aim is to capture the flavour of the individual sites with minimal winemaking influence being evident.

Escapade Vineyards Eden Valley Riesling 2021

Sourced from a vineyard located in in the cool climate high altitude region of Eden Valley around 500 metres above sea level in the Barossa ranges. The fruit was harvested in the coolest part of the evening and early morning then transported to the winery. After crushing and must chilling, the free run juice was drained and clarified. This juice was fermented between 13 – 14C with wild yeast to enhance flavours. The wine was bottled with a screw cap closure then aged in bottle for 6 months prior to release.  

Kopparossa Coonawarra Reserve Chardonnay 2022

The winemaker has carefully selected individual batches to create this outstanding wine from the highly acclaimed Coonawarra region in South Australia.
