Pierre Deville French Brut

Established in 1909, one of the founding fathers at Compagnie Francaise des Grands Vins was agronomist engineer Eugene Charmat, eponymous inventor of the fermentation technique now employed to create the majority of sparkling wines around the world. Vinified from the noble cepage of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, Pierre Deville Vin Mousseux is treated to an extended period of ageing on sedimentery yeast lees, infusing the wine with complexity and enriching the palate with creaminess, all balanced by a refreshingly dry and crisp finish. Situated not far from the centre of Paris itself, within close proximity to the great vineyards of Champagne, Compagnie Française des Grands Vins is France's largest and most conspicuous producer of sparkling wine. Parent company of the esteemed Charles Volner, Opera, Veuve Amiot and Muscador labels, CFGV have maintained a proud tradition of crafting France's most popular and approachable efferverscent wines for over a century. The cellar master applies his extensive expertise into creating Pierre Deville. A rigorous selection of Chardonnay, Pinots Noir and Meuniere, as treated to a rest and maturation on yeast lees is central to the ultimate quality and universal appeal of Pierre Deville Vin Mousseux.

Sieur d Arques Cuvee Du Soleil Blanc

The history of the Languedoc vineyards dates back to the fifth century BC, when the Greeks introduced the vine and its cultivation techniques. But it wasn't until 1531 that the Benedictine monks of the St Hilaire Abbey, a village close to Limoux, produced the first sparkling wine in the world... The World's first Sparkling Wine was born. Seduced bu this sparklig wine, a local lord, the Sieur d'Arques got into the habit of quaffing Flascons of Blanquette to celebrate his victories. Four centuries later, in 1946, insprired bu his historical anecdote, the winery's founders took on the name Sieur d'Arques. Since that day, the company has perpetuated the work of its remarkable artisans in a true desire to share thier ancestral know-how with all lovers of exceptional wines.

Grape Varieties: Saivignon, Colombard.

Technical:

La Petite Perrier Loire Valley Pinot Noir 2020

In 1790, the Saget family embarked upon a long history dedicated to vines and wine, firmly placing Saget among just a handful of estates that can enjoy their third successive century of business. Generations of their family have worked to create the signature Saget La Perrière wines - melding the perfect balance, a blend of richness and elegance via the meticulous selection of grapes, expertly crafted by their skilled winemakers for the La Petite Perrière wines. The new designation of Vin de France offered them the opportunity to explore and discover the ideal balance between the fruitiness of those varieties grown in the south and their acidity when produced in the northern region (Loire) and thus La Petite Perrière wines were created. The Vin de France designation is utilized for the entire La Petite Perrière range. La Petite Perrière Pinot Noir is largely sourced from their own estate vineyards in Touraine (Loire Valley) and a part of the blend is sourced from the South of France through their long term partners.

Boisset Family Estates Ropiteau Freres Le Plants Nobles Burgundy Chardonnay 2020

100% Chardonnay Vinification and maturing De-stemming, short maceration with skin contact, pressing, controlled fermentation at low temperatures, some in oak. Malolactic fermentation was partially stopped to preserve freshness. A blend of wines which have undergone different types of vinification allowed us to obtain greater finesse and aromatic complexity. One third of the cuvee benefited from maceration in different wood-fired oak barrels which adds aromatic complexity and gives a sugar feel in the mouth.

Delas Freres Vin De Pays, Pays Doc Syrah 2019

This cuvée is produced using only Syrah vines, planted in the southern part of the Ardèche region. Average production: 30,000 bottles per year. Grape variety : Syrah 100%

100% of the grapes are destemmed before the wine-making, which takes place in closed tanks for approximately 15 days. Extraction is helped by daily pumping over. Fermentation temperatures are controlled and maintained between 82°F (28°C) and 86°F (30°C). After pressing and racking, malolactic fermentation takes place in tanks.

Maturing takes place in vats in order to preserve the fruit aromas. The wines are racked regularly to allow natural stabilisation of their components. This "Syrah" cuvée is bottled after blending and a light filtration.

Chateau Haut Guillebot Bordeaux Superieur Cuvee Prestige 2014

In this family estate has been passed down from generation to generation since 1790. We produce Premium Red Bordeaux Wines. Green harvesting and selection of the best bunches. Vinified in confidential quantity and matured in oak barrels for 12 months.

60% Merlot  40% Cabernet Blend.

Delas Freres Cotes Du Rhone Rose 2020

This cuvée is the result of a blend of wines that mainly come from the commune of SainteCécile-les-Vignes and Rochegude. Average production: 10,000 bottles (75 cl.) per year. Grape Varieties : Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault are the main varieties of the blend. When they reach the winery, the grapes undergo a short period of cold maceration for about 8 to 18 hours, in order to extract colour and fruit flavours. Run-off and press juices are blended at once before the fermentation, which lasts between 8 and 10 days at a maximum temperature of 64°F (18°C). The wine is kept in stainless steel tanks to avoid any oxydation. Bottling takes place after fining and filtering.

Accolades & Awards:

Delas Freres Cotes Du Rhone Rose 2020

90 Points, Josh Raynolds - Vinous Magazine

"Light, bright orange. Spiced-accented cherry, raspberry, peach and tangerine aromas are complemented by a building floral nuance. Concentrated and sappy on the palate, offering juicy red berry, pit fruit and floral pastille flavours that slowly turn sweeter on the back half. The tangerine notes returns on the long, penetrating finish, which hangs on with very good tenacity."
