De Bortoli G.S Yarra Valley Chardonnay 2019

The “Summer Paddock” of the historic Gulf Station property was always known to be green and fertile. It is now home of De Bortoli Yarra Valley where wines are crafted by Steve Webber and the wine team. 

Fruit was sourced from a selection of premium vineyards from Dixons Creek, Yarra Glen and Tarrawarra. Fruit is gently pressed and allowed to settle overnight. Turbid juice is then racked to both French oak casks and stainless tanks. Lees are stirred in late Autumn and then left to rest until the finishing stages before blending and bottling. 

De Bortoli Windy Peak Heathcote Shiraz Grenache 2017

2017 was later season producing wines with lovely perfume and depth of flavour Fruit is sourced from carefully selected parcels of Shiraz and Grenache grown on the red volcanic soils of Northern Heathcote. Fruit is harvested at 14.0-15.0 Baume to achieve a balance of fruit ripeness and soft acidity.

De Bortoli Deen Vat 6 Verdelho 2018

Picked in the cool of the night 60% was fermented and matured for 11 Months in 2009 Seguin Moreau French oak barriques. The remainder of the vineyard was fermented and matured in stainless steel to retain freshness and fruit. A small portion of reserve Tumbarumba Chardonnay was added for its mouth filling properties and King Valley Riesling for its floralness and acidity Single vineyard G2652B03, only a mere 3km as the crow flies from the winery. Chosen for its clean and fruit forward flavours. Own rooted, 24 year old vines just hitting the prime of their life. A dry winter followed by moderate rains in late spring and early summer enabled vines to produce a healthy crop of fruit. A dry harvest period ensured no disease & optimum ripening conditions. Producing very pure wines with good varietal expression and flavour.
