Normans Holbrooks Road Chardonnay 2021

Pale straw with green hues. Highly aromatic style showing lovely notes of tropical fruit highlighted by peach, mango and citrus blossom.Fruit driven unoaked style reflecting characters on nose perfectly with peach, fresh mango, and cream. Overall fine and creamy with a touch of nuttiness and zingy citrus. A refreshing wine with beautiful natural fruit acidity providing length and the finish is savory and textural.

The Colonial Estate Exodus Barossa Valley Chardonnay 2022

Bright green with pale straw edge. Wonderful purity is obvious initially on the nose with fruit driven aromas of melon, peach and a slight hint of nut. Lovely citrus flavours with an array of fruits including, peach, nectarine and melon developing into a secondary layer of flavours of fig, lees and a touch of oak provide a creamy touch. Tight and focused on the finish with great depth of flavour and a lovely touch of natural fruit acidity.

Draytons Family Bellevue Heritage Grand Reserve Hunter Valley Chardonnay 2019

This chardonnay is straw in colour with tinges of green while on the nose are intense aromas of white peach and nectarines that are entwined with grapefruit and green apple. The palate is long and mouth-watering with sweet melon and peach flavours balanced by gentle, soft round acidity.A wine ideally suited to poultry, game birds, pork & creamy pasta.

Niche Sauvignon Blanc 2021

Medium Straw with a wonderful green apple hue. Sauvignon Blanc characteristics dominate with tropical fruits of pineapple, peach and passionfruit combining with hints of guava and freshly cut grass. Tropical fruits of pineapple, mango and peach fill out the luscious and juicy mid palate, light herbaceous characters add another level of complexity and the wine finishes crisp with a kick of acidity.

Vibrant straw to lime green in colour. Lifted aromas of gooseberry, pineapple, lemon and lime with freshly cut grass notes. The palate displays tropical notes with an allure of passion fruit, lime, melon and a touch of lemon with crisp natural fruit acidity.

Olssen Of Watervale Clare Valley Riesling 2017

Lime green with straw notes. A classic style of Watervale Riesling with sensuous lime, lemon and floral aromas. The palate is finely structured with intense citrus flavours on the palate balance nicely with the embracing acidity, finishing with good length of flavour.

Technical:

Normans Holbrooks Road Chardonnay 2021

Machine harvested in the cool early hours of the morning from a single vineyard in South Australia’s Riverland region. We crushed, chilled and fermented the juice at controlled temperatures in the cool cellar. Extended lees stirring added a degree of complexity ensuring this wine over delivers in terms of quality and overall structure despite the use of no oak. The wine was bottled after careful filtration to retain the vibrant fruit and depth of varietal flavours.

The Colonial Estate Exodus Barossa Valley Chardonnay 2022

Grapes were harvested in individual batches to select only the finest quality fruit and minimize losses due to the small tonnes grown. The picking occurred from a single vineyard located in the Cooler Southern Barossa region of Rowland Flat. The wine was crushed and fermented with 20% of the blend receiving oak fermentation with frequent lees stirring. The two parcels were blended together and bottled to retain fruit driven flavours.

Draytons Family Bellevue Heritage Grand Reserve Hunter Valley Chardonnay 2019

5 months maturation in 1 & 2-year-old French Oak Barriques, then stored in stainless-steel until bottled.

Niche Sauvignon Blanc 2021

The fruit was sourced from selected premium vineyards across South Australia. The fruit was de-stemmed and pressed immediately after harvest and a cool fermentation was initiated in stainless steel tanks to retain the clean, fresh aromatic fruit characters.

1838 Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2021

Sourced from vineyards across South Australia. Harvested at the cool of night before being transported to the winery then we crushed the fruit quickly to separate the clear juice from the skins. We used specific yeast for Sauvignon Blanc and after a cool fermentation the wine was carefully filtered and bottled to retain all the appealing fruit flavours.

Olssen Of Watervale Clare Valley Riesling 2017

The 2017 vintage in the Watervale sub region of the Clare Valley was perfect for the production of high quality Riesling. With ideal fruit-set we had a hot December which reduced yield expectations, before rain in late January and early February which slowed down the flow of vintage. Riesling for us was the stand out variety of the vintage and we produced highly aromatic and flavoursome wines. The perfect conditions allowed for optimal flavour ripening whilst it was quite dry this enabled the development of the natural fruit acidity. After picking and crushing we used only the free run juice for our Riesling. Fermentation was over a couple of weeks – after cold stabilizing/filtering, the wine was bottled to retain all those beautiful fruit flavours and natural grape acidity.
