Tasting Notes:

Bitch Moscato Nv

The palate exhibits fresh musky flavours with a delicate fairy floss characteristic to it. The natural fruit sweetness is balanced with the fresh acid finish and the gentle spritz gives the wine a refreshing touch. The nose displays fresh, floral aromatic notes with a touch of sherbet and musk.

Niche Moscato Nv

A gorgeous shade of pink. Enticing floral aromas of freshly squeezed grapes, floral, fairy floss and racy citrus. Floral musk notes open up to all consuming Turkish delight richness and strawberries and cream with a touch of spritz to give you that amazing refreshing punch required.

Wine Men Of Gotham Moscato 2017

This wine displays lifted, intense aromatics of rose petal, Turkish delight and notes of Muscat. Hints of spice on the palate, with fruit driven sweetness balanced with good acidity and a touch of spritz. Best served with Salt and pepper squid with sesame and chili lime dressing.

Technical:

Bitch Moscato Nv

The grapes for this wine were machine harvested in the cool of the morning. After crushing, the must was drained, gently airbag pressed and immediately the free run juice only was cold settled at ultra-low temperatures. This juice was then fermented at low temperatures using carefully selected yeast strains as to not overpower but bring out the delicate varietal characters without increasing phenolic. The fermentation was arrested just prior to achieving dryness, leaving a wine with some residual sugar. This wine was then racked with its’ fine yeast lees to add complexity and maintain fruity freshness. The wine was subsequently cold stabilised and filtered ready for bottling.

Niche Moscato Nv

Once the grapes reached their optimum maturity level they were harvested in the cool of the night and promptly delivered to the winery. Once fermentation was completed, the blend of Frontignac and Muscat Gordo juice was put to together to ensure consistency across the wine. It was then filtered and bottling under screw cap to preserve the aromatic fruit compounds and retain the spritz effervescence.
