From the James Halliday Winery of the Year, the Kilikanoon Oath Clare Valley Riesling 2025 is a benchmark release from one of Australia’s most iconic producers. Sourced from the celebrated Watervale sub-region of Clare Valley, this wine is the result of a near-perfect vintage—above-average spring rainfall followed by a cool, dry summer slowed ripening and delivered grapes with full flavour, natural acidity, and lower sugar levels than recent years.

The fruit was gently drained and pressed before undergoing cool fermentation for three weeks, retaining freshness and delicate aromatics. After stabilisation and filtration, the wine was bottled to preserve clarity and longevity, ready to impress both now and over the next decade.

In the glass, this Riesling is crisp and juicy, with a concentrated core of lemon and lime zest supported by a vibrant mineral acidity that drives the length and gives the wine its signature energy. Elegant yet intense, it finishes long, clean, and mouth-watering—a classic expression of Watervale terroir.
