Tasting Notes:

The 2023 Babich Marlborough Pinot Gris is exuberant with pear, ginger, citrus and peach aromas. Notes of lychee and rock melon can also be found along with a touch of brioche. Big and glossy on entry with flavours of ripe pear, apple and orange. These progress through the palate and linger sweetly on the finish. Mouth filling, generous and focused - a complete wine.

Technical:

Fruit was harvested from vineyards in the Waihopai, Wairau & Awatere Valleys. After some skin contact the fruit was pressed. The juice spent between 12- 48hrs stirring prior to clarification to build mouthfeel. Fermented in tank and barrel.
