Tasting Notes:

Clear and bright. Medium yellow with a green tinge. Intensity of honey, toast, apricots, peach, vanilla and sweet spice.  The wine is showing development but has plenty of primary fruit to age a few more years. Dry, medium acid, medium body. Medium intensity on the palate – vanilla, honey, toast, crème caramel, peach.  Lovely aromas and flavours of toast and honey from the age.   

Technical:

Select batches of Chardonnay showing great intensity and length of flavour were set aside during the vintage. This wine exhibits stone and citrus fruit characters interwoven with toasty flavours derived from aging on lees in barriques.
