Tasting Notes:

In the Golden Fields we blend multiple premium red varieties together to enable this wine to express the true character of the Central Victorian vineyards in which it was grown. It has ripe, dark berry fruit flavours with an attractive savouriness and the spicy cardamom notes that typify our region. Grape Varitals: 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Technical:

Perfect warm growing conditions throughout the entire season enabled us to ripen the fruit and harvest at its optimum quality. Great fruit flavours and structure were extracted from up to 2 weeks of fermentation in small fermenting vessels. The wines were then aged in oak for up to 24 months.
