Tasting Notes:

The palate is vibrant and succulent with an abundance of fresh strawberries and cream, rose petal and white peach that fill the senses, while clean cut acidity gives the palate gorgeous length. The finish is fine and elegant with lingering flavours of raspberry and strawberry with a subtle savoury hint.

Technical:

The grapes for this Rosé are sourced exclusively from the Barossa Valley. The Barossa Valley is the ideal home for producing the fresh red fruit characters that make Grenache and Mataro ideal for delicious Rosé.

With a very dry winter and spring, and hot, dry conditions in January and February, 2019 will be the lowest yielding vintage in the past decade. The low yields will result in wines with great colour, intense flavours and firm tannin structure. Grenache is showing to be a standout for vintage 2019.

The grapes for this Rosé were harvested cold and kept on skins for four hours before being drained off and then treated in a similar way to a white wine. The ferments were kept cool between 12-14 degrees for 15 days, maintaining the vibrant acid and fresh fruit characters. The wine received no oak contact prior to bottling in May 2019.

Accolades & Awards:

90 Points - Nick Butler The Real Review

"Provence pink colour. Stone fruit aromatics blend with strawberries and musk; it's expressive and fresh. More cored on the palate - red plums and cassis, lovely length, with measured acidity. Celebrates the variety."
