Tasting Notes:

The nose displays notes of red cherries, plums and boysenberries, followed by hints of spice. The palate is youthful and offers notes of plums, sour cherries and apricots with a fine tannin structure.

Technical:

The quintessential Australian red, this Pertaringa Shiraz offers everything that has made this variety famous down under. Spring and summer were cooler than normal with above average rainfall and the 2017 vintage happened much later than usual. The combination of those factors and dry weather for most of the harvest resulted in higher yields and excellent quality across regions.
