The Pepperjack winemakers are conscious of modern wine styles, and are creating wines that reflect their passion for this special region. The Pepperjack wines are rich and honest - showcasing the Barossa's outstanding qualities.

"Similar in size and structure to the Scotch Fillet McLaren Vale version but with plumier fruit, a hint of herbs and a softer looser structure, with pillowy soft tannins coating the sides rather than presenting front and centre. Oak appears less prominent too. Lots of appeal."

"A lovely, vibrant, dark red colour. Blood orange and graphite - an attractive bitterness to the nose. Oak is firm. Red plum and dark cherry fruits unravel from a stable core of oak and tannin. A dark chocolate savouriness adds charm to the finish. A very good shiraz."
