The 2024 Farnese Fantini Sangiovese IGT is a standout red from Italy’s Adriatic coast, expressing a vibrant garnet hue and an aromatic bouquet layered with ripe strawberry, black cherry, and a whisper of toasted wood.

Technical:

Produced with meticulous attention to detail in the historic cellars of the Caldora Castle, this vintage is the result of rigorous grape selection and traditional techniques, including cool fermentation and partial oak maturation for enhanced structure and complexity. With vines grown on clay-limestone soils facing southeast, and trained using the pergola system, the fruit delivers expressive depth and varietal purity.

This release continues the legacy of excellence from a winery named "Best Producer of Italy" in 2016, 2017, and 2019 by Luca Maroni. The previous vintage was awarded 96 Points by Luca Maroni and Fantini wines have earned the prestigious "Wine of the Year" title for nine consecutive years, reaffirming their benchmark status in Italian winemaking.

Sourced from premium vineyards in Ortona, San Salvo, and Pollutri, this medium-bodied wine showcases balanced tannins and a supple texture, making it a natural companion to baked meats, tomato-based pasta, and rustic Italian fare like eggplant parmigiana or grilled sardines.
