Tasting Notes:

The grapes for Angove Long Row Shiraz were picked at night from Angove family's own vineyards as well as premium growers in the region. The wine flaunts a deep red colour with purple hues. It has an exciting bouquet enriched with aromas of ripe berry and plum fruit, with spice and pepper notes. On the palate, this Shiraz displays flavours of ripe blackberries and plums followed by fine, soft and smooth tannins. Vanillin and toast characters provide a well-balanced finish to this South Australian Shiraz. The wine will partner perfectly with your favourite steak or a pasta dish.

Technical:

Angove is one of the most renowned wine businesses of South Australia. This fifth generation family business was founded in 1886 by Dr William Thomas Angove. The business was carried forward by his son Thomas 'Skipper' Carlyon, who is known for introducing Riverland's first winery in 1910. His successor, Thomas William Carlyon Angove, was awarded an Order of Australia in '94 for his massive contribution to the Australian wine industry.
