Tasting Notes:

This Pinot Gris is richly scented with jasmine, lime blossom and ginger spice aromas. The palate is succulent and juicy with delicious flavours of peaches, pears and a hint of ginger. It is finely balanced with gentle natural sweetness and a long luscious finish.

Technical:

Our Pinot Gris vines were cropped lightly to ensure maximum concentration of flavour and body. Diligent bunch thinning and leaf plucking from around the bunches resulted in fruit of optimum maturity and flavour. In the winery the grapes were lightly pressed and the juice cold settled to clarify. This was followed by cool fermentation in stainless steel using a yeast strain specifically selected to enhance varietal characteristics and fruit purity. Fermentation was stopped with 12 g/l natural residual sugar, adding a layer richness and texture to the finished wine
