I bought a couple of cases as an Autumn quaffer but was surprised by the clear, smooth, crisp yet rounded qualities - downside is the drinkability - it led to quite quick quaffing - I will need to buy more!

Excellent value
I opened another bottle of this last night, to drink with my vegetable stir-fry. And was reminded that Watervale is quite different from Coonawarra Riesling. This one is now nicely aged, but I suspect it won't improve further.

Grows on you
First bottle I sampled I was a little disappointed with the product as I normally prefer a sweeter tasting Riesling. However when you purchase a dozen you can't throw 11 bottles away so I persevered and it grew on me. Certainly great value for what I paid but would not have been disappointed if I had paid double.

I actually bought this twice by mistake but am not disappointed because I believe this riesling will age well and exhibit all the characteristics of a good Clare wine

Great value
Slightly oily on the nose and straw coloured, typical of a Riesling with a bit of age behind it — but by no means overbearing. Unusual for a Riseling, I get Pineapple on the front-mid palette with a nice touch of candied sweetness than finishes dry. Not quite as zippy acidity as I’d like, but this is likely due to age. Still, it finishes well - dry and slightly chalky later in the finish that expecpected. Exceptional value, there’s no doubt. Drinks as well as any $20 Riesling I can think of.

A very European Riesling
A very complex wine , not at all like Watervale , tastes like a Alsace Riesling, great with food , oily mouth feel & showing it's bottle age. Will age quite well if you would like to cellar it.

This 2014 vintage is drinking well young but will benefit with extra time. Dominated with a citrus overtone this wine is perfect as a summer quaffer or simply with a delicious plate of fresh seafood

A Superb Quaffer Reisling
On about my 4 th Doz now its such an easy Drinker honestly, get over the low price. Slightly resin flavour but not near as dry as the other Rieslings on offer - noo nonsense with this one - I ll be back for more - I like that I can Quaff an entire bottle, and its very easy on the head, no issues at all, which is always a good sign - light and refreshing give it a go.
