Tasting Notes:

Passion fruit, lemon/lime evolving and becoming dominant characters with just a hint of mint. The palate has great depth and persistence featuring the lemon and lime expected from aged Riesling with some oily character on the back palate.

Technical:

Fruit was sourced from vineyards in the famed Watervale region in the Clare Valley. Parcels were selected by both vigneron and winemaker to ensure only the finest selections made the final product. The fruit was picked and transported to the winery where the fruit was sorted, destemmed and crushed. Only the finest winemaking practices were used completed with fermentation in stainless steel to produce a fruit driven wine built to age well. The wine was bottled and aged in bottle prior to release.

My guess is that it's one that will improve with the benefit of a few years cellaring. I would recommend it and, in the context of its price, I think it's compelling value.
