The St Hugo Eden Valley Riesling 2025 is a refined and elegant expression of one of Australia's most celebrated cool-climate wine regions. Produced by the iconic St Hugo winery, this Riesling reflects a long-standing commitment to quality and craftsmanship, drawing on premium Eden Valley fruit selected through meticulous vineyard assessment to capture purity, precision and regional character.
Pale lemon in the glass, the bouquet opens with lifted aromas of floral blossom, lavender and fresh citrus zest. The palate is dry, vibrant and beautifully focused, revealing concentrated lime and citrus flavours layered with hints of white pepper, talc and delicate minerality. A crisp line of natural acidity provides energy and structure, carrying the wine through to a long, refreshing finish that highlights the elegance and finesse of Eden Valley Riesling.
Produced by a prestigious 5 Red Star Halliday-rated winery, this release follows a lineage of highly acclaimed vintages, including a previous 95-point rating from The Real Review, 93 points from Dave Brookes in the Halliday Wine Companion and 12 international award wins. Enjoy while youthful and vibrant or cellar short term to develop added complexity. Perfect with fresh oysters, sashimi, Thai cuisine, salt-and-pepper squid or Asian-inspired seafood dishes.
96 Point Rated & 5 Stars - Russell Gallagher Vinomasters
"Eden Valley Riesling with lift, line and that floating, weightless feel. 11.5%, and built for the table. Pale straw with a green glint. Lemon, lime and grapefruit, then white flower, makrut lime, wet stone and a dusting of talc. Light and exact. Crisp citrus runs through a mineral mid-palate, pith adding grip, acid keeping it taut. The finish just keeps going. Intensely flavoured fruit from these hills I grew up in. I can picture the berries. Pure lemon and lime with an ethereal finish."
