Tasting Notes:

Pale straw with a fresh green gold hue, this wine displays lifted fruit characters on the nose with a light yeastiness. The palate is soft and fruit driven, leading to a crisp natural acid finish. A pleasant easy drinking style, this sparkling will appeal to most palates – a fantastic choice as a weekend wine with friends, or to get the party started!

Technical:

‘NV’ refers to Non Vintage’. This allows for Cool Woods Sparkling Brut Reserve to be blended from several different years ‘base’ wine. The advantage of non vintage wines is that consistency of wine quality can be maintained if poor weather conditions impact grape quality in a certain year.
The fruit was harvested early resulting in the wine displaying bright and vibrant characters. To ensure a fine palate structure only free run juice is used, this is then cold fermented to preserve the natural fruit aroma and flavour. This wine has a lively effervescence and being produced in a drier style exhibits bright fruit and crisp acidity.
