Crimson red. Black cherry and etheral earth spice. A seamless palate that flows from front to back, integrated and complex. Dark fruits sing, with black cherry and Satsuma plum in the forefront. Rich with great depth and a fine-boned strucutre, the finish is a fanfare of silky fruit and fine tannins.
96 Point Rated - Huon Hooke The Real Review - Top Ranked
"Deepish red/purple, a colour of excellent depth and hue. It's dark-fruited, showing dark plum, black cherry, vanilla and toasty smoky oak tinges. Complex! Full-bodied and dense, rich and fleshy. Great concentration and texture; velvety, fleshy softness. Deliciously succulent. An outstanding pinot"
95 Point Rated - James Halliday Wine Companion
"MV6, hand-picked, destemmed, whole berry, gravity-fed to open fermenters, matured for 12 months in French puncheons (25% new). Complex wine, rich in fruit, oak and tannin flavours. It stamps the '17 Yering Station Pinots with an extra degree of power and longevity."

"The refinement and structure here is really something with beautiful purity of rich red and dark cherries on offer. The tannins deliver such succulent and appealing drive and expansive allure at the finish."
91 Point Rated - Gary Walsh The Wine Front
"Cherries, spice, mint, perfume and sweet oak, some bottle age character coming through. It’s fine-boned and firm in structure, red fruits, cool acidity and spicy biscuit oak, powdery tannin on a sweet red fruit finish of solid length. Good, but not terribly exciting."
Our flagship Pinot Noir. Only made in the very best years, using only the very best parcels of fruit. Our Reserve wines epitomise time, place and effort in the purest of forms. Our very best expression of variety, viticulture, location, season and winemaking.
The 2017 vintage was a 1-in-20 season in the Yarra Valley. Optimal growing conditions, allowed for perfectly balanced vines and beautifully ripened grapes. In these pristine years, spectacular fruit flavours are combined with intensity and power, producing wines of true longevity. Fruit was hand picked from our Coldstream site (50%) and the Valley floor (50%). De-stemmed and cold soaked for 4 days. Fermented in open fermenters and hand plunged daily. Matured in French oak puncheons for 11 months.
