Sourced from two old vine vineyards at the southern end of McLaren Vale, with an average vine age of 52 years, the fruit brings natural concentration, depth and complexity to the blend. Fermented in small stainless-steel fermenters to preserve purity of fruit, the wine was then matured for 12 months in predominantly older oak barrels with a small portion of new oak, allowing the oak influence to gently integrate while maintaining freshness and varietal clarity.

In the glass, the wine displays a vibrant crimson-purple hue. Aromatically, it lifts with delicate florals of rose petals and violets, layered with bright red berry characters.
