The Normans Bin C163 Langhorne Creek Shiraz 2023 is a smooth, richly flavoured Shiraz from one of Australia’s oldest and most respected wineries, Normans Wines, established in 1853. This Shiraz captures the character of the Langhorne Creek region with its dark fruit profile, spice, and structure.
In the glass, it shows a dark brick red hue with ruby highlights. The nose is lifted and layered with dark ripe fruits, cassis, spice, and hints of toasty vanilla oak. The palate is silky and moreish, displaying dark berry fruit, well-judged oak, and lingering fine tannins that offer great length and balance. Aged for 12 months in seasoned 3–4-year-old barrels, the wine retains its fruit purity and structure.

"A friendly offering, the nicely lifted bouquet shows dark plum, raspberry, thyme and roasted nut aromas, followed by a succulent palate offering good weight and polished tannins. Well structured and lingering with tasty flavours. At its best: now to 2028. $20.00."
